Pastor J.O. Akpata is a dedicated servant of God and a Deliverance Pastor at Hour of Liberty Fellowship (HOL). He was born in Ibadan in 1964 and gave his life to Christ in 1983. He has remained steadfast in his walk with the Lord, relying on God’s grace through every season of life. His call into ministry was inspired by a deep love for God’s Word and a clear sense of divine purpose upon his life, leading him into active ministry in April 1984.
He has received extensive theological training through various ministerial schools, including the School of Discipleship, School of Deliverance, Biblical Studies, Counselling, and School of Ministry. In addition to his ministry training, he holds qualifications in Aviation Ticketing and worked in the Aviation Industry for many years before answering the call to full time ministry.
Passionate about evangelism and community impact, Pastor Akpata is actively involved in the HOL Ilasan Outreach. His life is guided by the conviction that “With God, all things are possible,” and his favourite scripture, Psalm 2:1-2, continues to inspire his faith and ministry. Through prayer, teaching, and deliverance ministry, he remains committed to helping people encounter the transforming power of Jesus Christ.
Pastor Akpata is happily married to Pastor Adefunke Akpata, and they are blessed with four children.
